Veenenbos Risk Insurance Consulting CEE BV is an independent risk management advisory provider, based in the Netherlands, operating throughout EMEA and established end 2016.

Managing partner Jaap Veenenbos, is a qualified (FM) HPR risk engineer versatile with NFPA and FM Global loss prevention standards, and management consultant with over 25 years of experience in project risk management and enterprise risk management.

Mr Veenenbos worked prior for Sedgwick Netherlands as head of the loss control department following for Aon Netherlands as managing consultant and the last 12 years as managing director risk consulting and construction for Aon Central Eastern Europe.

Mr Veenenbos worked as interim project risk manager on several large infrastructure projects, such as the Betuweroute Rail Road project in the Netherlands, the Public Transport chip card (OV chip) for the East West consortium, was involved on many Public Private Partnership projects as lenders risk advisor and recently developed a Risk Management framework for the Rail Baltica project organization.

Mr Veenenbos works as business developer in Central Eastern Europe exclusively for GrECo Risk Consulting GmbH out of Vienna.

Furthermore he is member of the United Nations Economic Council for Europe, PPP team of specialist, supporting governments with the development of PPP projects outside the EU. Mr Veenenbos holds a master degree in Mining engineering form Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. He is fluent in German, English, French wit a basic understanding of Polish.

Technical partner Oscar Boot works as a software engineer and programmer for VRiC. He has been a senior Naval Officer for 40 years during which he has been teaching computer sciences at the Dutch Defense Academy for almost 7 years. He is a part-time software development teacher at the Saxion university of applied sciences currently and at the Dutch Defense Academy. He has an MSc in computer sciences and has a broad technical knowledge in software development, data communication, security, information analysis, database design, computer languages, radar systems, communication systems, systems integration, project management and systems engineering. However his heart lies with creating beautiful, maintainable and user friendly code.
